Room 322: Regenerative Amplifier The regenerative amplifier boosts the energy of the pulses produced by the oscillator. It produces 100 fs pulses with 350 mJ of energy and runs at 1 kHz with 800 nm wavelength. These pulses are used in nearly all the experiments in this lab. They can also be used to seed the optical parametric amplifier to produce ultrashort pulses with different wavelengths.
